Hi everyone,
My initial plan to do for my husband on Father's day weekend was to go fishing and camping. Unfortunately, mother nature has other plans. It's plan consists of rain and lots of it! Since we can't go camping and fishing outside; we will bring the camping and fishing inside!
The first thing I stumbled on was Fondue in crock-pot! This is an easy dessert to try that is fun for your whole family. S'mores anyone? Cheese is great to do as well, so grab some pretzel sticks, fruit, marshmallows, graham crackers and enjoy!

I'm a big foodie person, my father-in-law and my husband love home made Rice Krispies treats. Most likely I will be making this. Also, it's only three ingredients, it's super easy and you can fondue these too with your favorite toppings!

The next thing I found was family bingo. I'm not sure what instructions go with this, but I would imagine maybe dice could be involved. Maybe some shredded paper numbered B though O in a hat mixed together could happen. I would also take out the outside activities and replace it with a card game. Check it out!

Here's an indoor scavenger hunt to help you with the above game.

The kids love to make gifts for their father. This year I may set it up so that he has to go fishing for them using something similar to this. Get a shower curtain rod at the local dollar store, an old sheet or tablecloth, and have a comfy chair for him.

Camp out in the living room. Set up an indoor tent with lots of blankets, pillows, use Christmas lights to decorate your tent.

Bring a favorite book or two and read together as a family. See how long you all can go without media as a challenge. Remember the most important thing to do is show your husband how great of a father he truly is. This is also great to do with grandparents who aren't able to go camping.

Happy father's day to all the dads that have made our children's life better. Thank you.
A special thank you to my husband, who raises and loves our children without a second thought.
